New Team, Same Goal: Ish Smith Continues his Support for J-NOTT-GTT

November 10, 2023 - A loyal friend to the Nottinghams and J-NOTT-GTT, NBA Champion Ish Smith once again met up with Junius and Sharon on the court to show support for their fight against Lynch Syndrome and Colon Cancer.

Now sporting a Charlotte Hornets uniform after winning an NBA Championship last year with the Denver Nuggets, Ish took some time before their game against the Washington Wizards on Friday to represent J-NOTT-GTT and the Colon Cancer Coalition. He has long been a supporter of our mission to spread awareness about Lynch Syndrome and the need for genetic testing if there is any history of cancer within one’s family. Jeremy’s diagnosis of Lynch Syndrome ultimately saved the life of his father, who was able to detect his own cancer early enough to treat and beat it. From that experience, the Nottinghams have made it their goal to save as many lives as possible through genetic testing and early detection.
